Privacy Notice

Who is responsible
Hazard Talent Management provides Scriptageddon and acts as data controller for personal information processed to operate the application. Stripe separately handles checkout and payment processing under its own privacy notice.
Information and purposes
Account information, such as email, account identifiers and sign-in information, supports account creation, authentication and access. Scripts, project metadata, author/contact fields and saved versions support writing, synchronization, imports and exports. Device identifiers, device names, last activity and plan/access records support license management and support. Reservations and gift-recipient emails support launch notifications and gift delivery. Collaboration names, roles and presence support writers' rooms; requested voice/video calls transmit media to participants. AI prompts and submitted draft excerpts support requested coaching or assessments. Support messages, IP addresses, technical logs and usage/error information help diagnose issues and protect the service. Do not include sensitive personal information in prompts or drafts unless necessary for your intended use.
Legal grounds
We process account and writing information to perform our agreement with you. Security, reliability and support processing serves legitimate interests, subject to your rights. Legal and transaction records may be retained to meet legal obligations. Where required, optional communications or other optional processing rely on your consent; you can withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Email-only reservations
You can reserve a launch copy with only your email address, without creating an account or paying. We store that address and the reservation date privately to record your reservation and provide the launch notice you requested. A reservation does not create an account or grant software access. Only authorized creator support can view the reservation list; email-delivery providers process your address when sending requested notices. We retain reservations while needed to fulfill the launch offer and resolve related requests, then delete or anonymize them. To withdraw your reservation or request deletion, contact Hazard Talent Management through Scriptageddon.com and identify the reservation email. We may verify that you control that address before acting.
Sharing and optional features
Hosting, account, storage, email-delivery and technical service providers process information needed to operate Scriptageddon. AI service providers receive the prompts and excerpts you submit for AI features. Invited collaborators receive content and presence information required for the shared room; call participants receive the audio/video you enable. Stripe receives information needed for product sales, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing. We may share relevant information with professional legal/accounting advisers or authorities where required by law. Online synchronization and AI features transmit information beyond the local device; use local exports to keep separate backups.
Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide your account and requested features, resolve support issues, maintain security and comply with legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, it should be deleted or anonymized. Retention depends on the record's purpose and applicable law rather than one universal period. Locally saved projects and exported files remain on your devices until you remove them; removing a local copy does not automatically remove synchronized copies or other participants' exports.
Your rights and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability or restriction of your personal information, object to certain processing or withdraw consent. Contact Hazard Talent Management through Scriptageddon.com and identify your account and request. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You may complain to the applicable data-protection authority. Where GDPR applies, requests are ordinarily answered within one month, subject to lawful extensions.
Security and international processing
We aim to use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and service, including restricting access to authorized users. No service can promise complete security; protect your password and keep backup copies of important work. Service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where data-protection law requires international-transfer safeguards, the applicable lawful safeguards must be used.
Cookies and device storage
Essential browser storage supports sign-in, tab-scoped testing access, local drafts, device identification and your display preferences. Clearing this storage can remove local drafts or make a browser register as a new device. Manage storage through your browser settings, but export important projects first. This notice does not authorize optional advertising or analytics tracking; where nonessential tracking is introduced and consent is required, consent must be obtained before it runs.
For policy questions or rights requests, contact Hazard Talent Management through Scriptageddon.com. Include the account email and enough information to identify your request; never send your password.
